$150,000 Verdict: Disc disease is contended in third-party suit


Plaintiff was traveling on southbound Interstate 75 near the Nine Mile Road exit in Hazel Park. Traffic was stop-and-go, and Plaintiff was driving between 35-40 mph, wearing his seat belt. When Plaintiff applied his brake at one point, he was struck in the rear by defendant and suffered back injuries. Defense medical expert says plaintiff’s back better than it was before crash.
