Elderly man struck by car while riding a bicycle in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — An elderly man was rushed to the hospital Sunday after being struck by a car while riding his bicycle on Grand Rapids’ West Side.

The 87-year-old man was admitted to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital shortly after noon on Sunday, Nov. 4, after being struck at Lake Michigan Drive and Collindale Avenue NW about 11:50 a.m.
