$3 million Settlement: Woman sustains burns in gas explosion

Defendants argue loss of earnings, location of pipe within home; case settles

Plaintiff, a 30-year-old mother of two young children, was seriously injured when a natural gas explosion occurred at her home four years ago. She sustained burns to up to 40 percent of her body’s surface, including her feet, legs, hands, arms and face. Plaintiff underwent skin graft surgery on her forearms and feet.
