9 hurt in DDOT bus collision with SUV in Detroit


Detroit — Nine people reportedly have been injured in a collision between a Detroit Department of Transportation bus and an SUV on the city's east side.

According to the Detroit Police Department, the incident occurred in the 11600 block of Mack Avenue, east of St. Jean Street.

WDIV is reporting the DDOT bus rear-ended a Chevrolet Tahoe shortly before noon.

Six people on the bus, as well as two adults and a child in the SUV, were taken to a local hospital where their conditions were unknown.
