Briefs: Woman dies as shopper's car runs over her

Troy — A woman leaving a Troy grocery store Sunday afternoon died when a car ran her over in the parking lot.

The 52-year-old woman was run over outside Atlas Market and Bakery at Big Beaver and Dequindre. The driver of a car backed over the woman around 3:30 p.m., according to the Oakland County Medical Examiner's Office.

An autopsy is scheduled for this morning, according to the Oakland County Medical Examiner's Office.
